A free, monthly class for young authors, ages 12-18. This virtual (and sometimes in-person) writing group provides lessons, writing prompts, activities, and support outside of formal English classes to foster creativity. We take the emphasis off of grading and requirements, and put it back into imagination, creation, and self-improvement for the love of the craft. The Youth Writing Program also supports and advocates for young authors in the editing and publishing process.
About the Instructor: Sarah Reichert is an award-winning author, mother, and Early Childhood Educator. She has over 10 years of experience working with all ages from 2 to 87 in instruction and education. She is the Director of Writing Heights Writers Association, and believes in creating and fostering a safe and welcoming space.
